Workshop Proposals

Want to lead a Workshop in our gallery in The Shops of Willow Bend? The Plano Art Association invites members to share your expertise and engage with the community!

To submit a proposal, email the following details to Rebecca at president@planoartassociation.org with the subject line "Workshop Proposal" for review by the President and Gallery Team:

  • Instructor Name

  • Email

  • Workshop Title

  • Proposed Date and Times

  • Marketing Description (100 words or less)

  • Course Fee (PAA retains 20%; e.g., $40 class = $32 to instructor)

  • Minimum / Maximum Participants

  • Instructor-Provided Supplies

  • Participant-Provided Supplies

  • Target Audience: Youth (7–12), Teen (13–17), Adult (18+)

  • Instructor Bio (2–3 sentences)

  • Photo of Workshop Art

  • Optional Headshot for Marketing

Marketing: Instructor is responsible for promoting their own workshops. PAA will also promote the workshop including providing advertising  flyer copy given ample lead time (6-8 weeks for the Shops of Willow Bend and Visit Plano; 5 days for Social Media).

Registration & Fees: PAA manages registration and payment processing. Instructors receive 80% of collected fees after workshop completion.

Setup: Instructors are responsible for setup and cleanup. Tables and chairs are available, but additional items may be needed. Please  protect and maintain gallery property.
